Eat

Eat well at breakfast and you’re set for the day! We work with local suppliers wherever possible to bring you the best in Northumbrian fare each morning. Later, enjoy fresh tea and coffee and homemade cake.

Breakfast

Breakfast is at the heart of what we do in the kitchen. From fresh Fenham eggs to homemade jam and local honey, and quality bacon, sausage and black pudding from our favourite local butcher – we use delicious Northumbrian produce wherever possible. Fuel up with a cooked breakfast, made to order, and enjoy an array of nutritious fruits, yogurt and cereals. Please let us know in advance of any special dietary requirements and we will happily cater accordingly.

Our suppliers

The fields, rivers and seas of the Northumberland coast and countryside are rich sources of tasty produce. Our suppliers include W.S. Robson (Chain Bridge Honey Farm) whose honey mustard is perfect with a sausage; our favourite local butcher; and Doddington Dairy whose fresh, unadulterated yogurt tops a bowl of fruit and granola beautifully. Our jam and marmalade is all homemade. Eggs are laid by our very own hens, who you’ll see happily roaming the farm.

Bottle bar

We stock a small selection of bottled beers, ciders and spirits produced in the Northumberland and Borders regions, and wine. The range varies but popular favourites include Thistly Cross ciders, bottled beers from Hadrian Border Brewery and Jack Cain Gin, as well as Fentimans soft drinks. As our guest, you are welcome to enjoy a cold brew or tasty tipple and make yourself at home in The Granary.

Breakfast room

Breakfast is served in the Tin Room, part of the Granary building, a light and spacious setting that benefits from tranquil views over grass and coastline, with Bamburgh Castle in the distance. Early risers will often catch a beautiful sunrise as the sun comes up from the direction of Lindisfarne, and over the farm.

Breakfast is served from 7.45am until 9am.
